Offers an exploration of the use of storytelling, role play, cosplay, and improvisation for communicating science. Through a series of lectures, discussions and hands-on activities, students will explore a range of strategies to create science outreach with real impact for the public. Students develop skills in creative thinking, summarizing, and translating technical research papers for general audiences, designing and conducting scientific outreach events for a range of audiences and evaluating the impact of these activities. |
